The position of Asia Development Lead exists to drive Compassion Australia's growth strategy across Asia. The position reports to Compassion Australia's CEO and is required to cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships across Asia to advance Compassion's mission in the region.Why You'll Love It Here

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Compassion's regional growth strategy in Asia, ensuring alignment with global vision and local contexts, including launching new country offices and driving performance targets like sponsorship and fundraising.
  • Adapt strategies to diverse church cultures, economic conditions, and ministry opportunities across Asia to expand Compassion's reach and impact.
  • Identify, mentor, and equip emerging and established Christian leaders while modelling organisational values and fostering strong team performance and culture.
  • Establish and manage high-value relationships with churches, Christian movements, ministries, and philanthropic partners, while negotiating and maintaining strategic partnership agreements.
  • Oversee financial planning and budget management for growth initiatives, implement models like "Give Anywhere," collaborate across teams, and represent Compassion in regional events and networks.

  • Naturally influential and engaging, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and a willingness to travel regularly across Asia.
  • Proven experience building networks and managing key stakeholder relationships across Christian, corporate, not-for-profit, or church leadership settings, with strong communication skills to drive results.
