Location: West, reputable university

Salary: $3,000 – $3,800 (Based on experience)

6-Month Contract (renewable / convertible)

Working hours: Mon–Thurs: 8.30am–5.45pm, Fri: 8.30am–5.15pm

You will play a key role in grant management and research administration, acting as the primary contact point for faculty and ensuring smooth project operations from proposal to closure.

  • Support research grant lifecycle: proposal submissions, reporting, and project closure.
  • Manage research accounts, validate expenditures, and ensure compliance with funding and university policies.
  • Liaise with departments to facilitate contracts, agreements, and research-related administration.
  • Prepare financial claims, invoicing, and grant variations.
  • Provide secretariat support for review panels and compile research data/statistics.
  • Support recruitment functions for research projects.
  • Promote good record-keeping practices for compliance and accessibility.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline, no experience required
  • Diploma holders with prior grant management / research administration experience are welcome to apply
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication (written & spoken) and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable handling databases.
