Project & Events Executive (Public Sector) - Entry Level

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join the team on an 11-month contract. You will be supporting the planning and delivery of a major conference that brings together the wider Public Service community. This role offers the chance to work across agencies, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to a high-profile event. 

This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a keen interest in events and stakeholder management. You'll gain valuable experience working in the public sector while contributing to a large-scale, impactful event.

What You'll Do

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the conference and related activities by:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, partner agencies, vendors, and the appointed Professional Conference Organiser. Coordinate communications, facilitate meetings, and track follow-up actions.
  • Event Planning & Coordination: Support programme planning, speaker engagement, logistics, and delegate experience. Assist in preparing agendas, reports, presentations, and materials.
  • Operations & Administration: Maintain project documentation, contact lists, and issue logs. Support budget tracking, procurement, invoicing, and contract management. Coordinate logistics for workshops, site visits, and rehearsals.
  • Onsite Support: Provide operational support during the event, including registration, VIP and speaker coordination, and troubleshooting. Work closely with the PCO and venue to ensure smooth day-of execution.
  • General Support: Undertake any ad-hoc duties as required to ensure successful project delivery.

Working Hours: office Hours (Mon - Fri)Location: near One North MRT

Salary: up to $3300 per month + Annual Leave

Contract Duration: 6-12 months contract
