Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BQ).
  • Lead and review the costing, cost planning, and estimation process for tenders.
  • Manage and support multiple M&E tender projects concurrently.
  • Chair pre-tender meetings and allocate duties to team members during tender preparation.
  • Supervise the preparation of preliminary design drawings and design calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Review and approve budgets for M&E works to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Analyze and mitigate risks related to project cost control and budget adherence.
  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Promote a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal departments.
  • Address and resolve design and tender-related queries promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure tenders and related documents are well-prepared, compliant, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all tender activities.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Min 5 years related experience
  • Familiar with tendering, project cost control in M&E works
  • Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
