Grab's Public Affairs team partners with governments to support national policies, engage in public policy discussions, and drive initiatives for positive technological impact. We are a forward-looking team that's actively shaping the future of technology and society in Southeast Asia.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for an Intern to support strategy implementation for Grab's Public Affairs team, support Grab's Grab's Public Affairs efforts, and help develop partnerships with government, community, and private partners to bolster Grab's public affairs plans.. You will be fully on-site.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will support strategy implementation by analysing public policy issues, developing positions and recommendations, and collaborating with regional teams to promote Grab's social mission.
- You will develop strategies and projects related to Grab's Public Affairs goals, working with other teams to create plans and programmes.
- You will research public policy issues at the intersection of technology and society, and develop campaigns to enhance Grab's reputation as a trusted industry leader, including planning dialogues and roundtable discussions.
- You will create collateral and materials to provide industry insights and inform our markets.
- You will help develop partnerships with government, community, and private partners by coordinating between external partners and other teams to build partnership programmes.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Knowledge of technology industry policy issues and Grab's business.
- Experience evaluating challenges and developing solutions.
- Express ideas in writing and verbally, encouraging positive team interactions.
- Proficient Project Management skills.
- Undergraduate or Master's student in Public Policy, Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Political Science, Social Science, or related fields.
- Conduct research and synthesis of important insights applicable to business
- Project management skills
- Understand business impact from policy topics
