About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at DL Public Relations' as a Public Relations Manager - Mandarin Speaker. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the firm's strategic Public Relations initiatives and delivering impactful media relations programmes for our diverse client base. Ideally based in our Central Region SG office, you will play a key part in expanding the company's reach in the Asia-Pacific region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive Public Relations campaigns to raise brand awareness and elevate clients' profiles in target markets
  2. Managing media relations activities such as press release distribution, media pitching, and organising press conferences and media events
  3. Leveraging your Mandarin language skills to engage with Chinese media outlets and build relationships with key influencers
  4. Producing high-quality content including thought leadership articles, opinion pieces, and social media posts
  5. Analysing campaign performance and providing detailed reports to clients on key metrics and insights
  6. Collaborating cross-functionally with the creative, digital, and client services teams to deliver integrated Public Relations solutions
  7. Providing strategic counsel to clients on crisis communications and reputation management

What we're looking for

  1. 3-5 years of experience in a public relations or corporate communications role, ideally within the marketing and communications industry
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  3. Proven track record of securing high-profile media placements and building strong media relationships
  4. Proficient in developing creative, data-driven Public Relations campaigns that deliver measurable results
  5. Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  6. A degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
