JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Fulfils daily functions of the Project Control team within Finance Department which includes but not limited to:

  • Project accounting for the ongoing and completed projects

  • Reconciliation of projects related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing
  • Variance analysis of project related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing management & statutory reporting
  • Reviews project financials, cashflow and management reporting
  • Prepares, monitors and manages quarterly forecasts and annual budgets relating to projects
  • Business partners Commercial Units on finance related matters for the ongoing and completed projects
  • Reviews corporate finance processes/policies surrounding projects to ensure proper internal control. Proposes and initiates improvement to work processes to enhance efficiency
  • Supports internal and external audit activities and risk management
  • Any other ad-hoc matters determined by the supervisors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field
  • Strong proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards (particularly on projecting accounting) and SAP Financial knowledge
  • Experience in the engineering, construction, oil & gas or energy industry or Big 4 Auditing firms would be a strong advantage
  • Meticulous, detailed, self-motivated and responsible individual who can meet tight reporting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
