We are looking for a passionate and motivated Kitchen Trainee to join our dynamic culinary team in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food preparation, kitchen operations, and a keen interest in learning the ins and outs of professional cooking. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to develop their culinary skills and gain hands-on experience in a renowned restaurant kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Support the team with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and stocking food supplies.
  • Assist in preparing ingredients and mise en place for daily service.
  • Learn and adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Assist with basic kitchen operations and collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to enhance culinary skills and expand knowledge of kitchen techniques and equipment.
  • Contribute positively to a team-oriented environment and be open to feedback and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Culinary Arts, Food Science, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • No prior experience required, but any hands-on culinary experience (internships, part-time work) is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in culinary arts and the hospitality industry.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude towards learning and self-improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: $2, $3,000.00 per month
