We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our WSQ and SkillsFuture training portfolio. The role focuses on course development, strategic partnerships, and market growth initiatives. This position requires strong expertise in WSQ/SSG frameworks, a passion for workforce development, and the ability to drive impactful results.
Key ResponsibilitiesCourse Development & Management
- Lead the design, development, and submission of WSQ/SkillsFuture courses in compliance with SSG standards.
- Collaborate with trainers, SMEs, and curriculum developers to deliver high-quality, industry-relevant content.
- Conduct market research and translate findings into new course proposals and programme enhancements.
- Review, update, and improve existing programmes to align with SkillsFuture and WSQ frameworks.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the organisation's WSQ/SkillsFuture course portfolio.
- Identify and build partnerships with corporates, industry associations, and government agencies.
- Promote training programmes to enhance market visibility and enrolment.
- Explore opportunities for customised learning solutions for corporate clients.
- Supervise and guide junior team members in executing business development activities.
- Monitor performance metrics, including enrolment numbers, client engagement, and revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with SSG and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Certification: ACLP (Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance) – mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in WSQ/SkillsFuture training, curriculum development, or business development.
- Proven track record in course design, accreditation, and compliance management.
- Strong background in client relationship management and partnership building.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of WSQ framework, SkillsFuture ecosystem, and SSG requirements.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with LMS and e-learning platforms is an advantage.
