Jobe Role

Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the S4K curriculum.  Provide in-house teacher training both local and overseas (upon request)

1 . Programme Development

  • Support the head of the curriculum to plan the S4K curriculum based on the latest MOE guidelines, international best practices and S4K's USP.
  • Assist in core curriculum content writing for the early years i.e. Infant, Playgroup, Pre-Nursery.
  • Upgrade and fine-tune curriculum upon feedback.
  • Fine-tune and modify curriculum for overseas use where appropriate.
  • Assist in the development and production of curriculum materials, including content and artwork.
  • Assist in planning, developing and updating the curriculum manuals periodically.
  • Support research and ad hoc projects when applicable.

2 . Training and Operational Support

  • Conduct in-house teacher training both locally and overseas.
  • Supervise and train respective appointed coordinators in the centres on curriculum content in the early years program.
  • Support centres' programme implementation.
  • Assist in a half-yearly report on the evaluation of programme implementation.
  • Visit centres periodically and provide reports on curriculum implementation.
  • Provide recommendations on improvement in teaching, resources and setting up learning corners.

3. SPARK Accreditation Complement Support

  • Provide complementary support to direct centres in preparation for the early years of SPARK accreditation.
  • Work with respective appointed coordinators in the centres to identify centres' needs in fulfilling professional requirements for early years SPARK accreditation.

4. Secure System (SS) and Skool4Kidz Digital Skool (SDS) Support

  • Manage SS users' access based on access rights given.
  • Co-train with vendors to guide internal staff familiar with our secured system.
  • Attend SDS administrative tasks:

  • Assign learners to modules.

  • Ensure learners are unenrolled after each module ends.
  • Check regularly that the website's automatic backups and Cron are working.
  • Send mass emails to learners.
  • Manually suspend guest accounts after access is over.
  • Keep records of reports (e.g., students' list with modules attended, list of users' emails, student's grade books, and assignments).

B CHALLENGES AHEAD

  • Prepare all existing centres for early years SPARK accreditation. This is a major undertaking which requires the efforts and support of every staff in every centre.
  • Ensure staff are well trained in delivering the curriculum to the children.
