Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker with strong expertise in progressive stamping tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and improvement of precision stamping tools to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and reliability in production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture, assemble, fabricate, and maintain progressive, compound, and 3D stamping tools.
  • Interpret and work from 3D CAD models and 2D tool design prints to produce high-precision tooling.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and modifications on tools to meet production and quality requirements.
  • Ensure all tooling is built and maintained to required standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the design, engineering, and production teams to optimize tool performance and output.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance and implement improvements to extend tool life.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and production standards.
Requirements
  • Technical Certificate or Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Precision Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in tool making with proven skills in progressive stamping tools.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in progressive, compound, and 3D stamping tool manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting 3D CAD drawings and 2D tool design prints.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
  • Familiarity with CNC machining, EDM, grinding, and other precision machining processes.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
