Qualifications

  • Graduates of Aviation Technical School, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Min. 15 years aircraft technical experience preferably in a managerial role in the Aviation Industry.
  • Aircraft Maintenance License with 737NG, A320, & A330 series endorsement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English language.
  • Proficient in common software applications including Word and Excel.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrate high initiative and able to work under pressure, independently and in accordance with direction provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Direction and Planning: Authority over setting long-term goals, developing operating plans, and aligning technical activities with company objectives.
  • External and Internal Coordination: Responsibility for negotiating with external entities, coordinating internal activities, and ensuring seamless integration between Directorates.
  • Compliance and Resource Management: Oversight of airworthiness compliance, safety standards, vendor relations, warranty tracking, and resource provisioning to support operational efficiency.
  • Authority to sign outgoing correspondence on behalf of the company related to his designated directorate, provided that the content does not encompass agreements involving specific monetary values.
  • Monitor and supervise the technical aspects of airline operations under AMGA.
