As the Senior Manager / Manager of Talent Acquisition at Econ Healthcare Group, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent. You will lead the Talent Acquisition team in driving employer branding initiatives and managing local and overseas hiring efforts. This position entails overseeing the entire recruitment process, from employer branding to pre-onboarding procedures, to ensure a seamless experience for new hires. Your role will play a critical part in shaping the workforce of our organisation while enhancing our reputation as an employer of choice in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategic Planning

  • Lead and mentor the Talent Acquisition team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the organisation's goals and workforce planning needs.
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partnering Team to identify current and future staffing needs and develop proactive recruitment plans.

Employer Branding

  • Develop and implement comprehensive employer branding strategies to enhance the image of Econ Healthcare Group as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to create engaging content for recruitment campaigns, including social media, websites, and job descriptions.
  • Attend and represent the organization at career fairs, talks, and other promotional events to attract potential candidates.
  • Design and create recruitment props, banners, and souvenirs for career fairs and company events to enhance visibility and promote our employment opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a Career Ambassador program to engage employees and encourage referrals to help promote a positive image of the company and assist in talent acquisition efforts.

Talent Attraction

  • Plan and coordinate participation in local and overseas job fairs and industry events.
  • Organise and conduct career talks at educational institutions to build relationships and establish a talent pipeline.
  • Manage and oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for local and overseas positions, ensuring a diverse and qualified applicant pool.
  • Oversee the recruitment of temporary staff, ensuring swift and efficient hiring to meet organisational demands during peak operational periods.
  • Maintain knowledge of local and international labour market trends and actively seek out innovative sourcing methods.
  • Work closely with candidates to expedite the pre-onboarding process, including facilitating registrations with relevant licensing boards such as SNB (Singapore Nursing Board) and AHPC (Allied Healthcare Professional Council) and other necessary regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure all pre-employment requirements are fulfilled, including background checks and reference checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Talent Acquisition with a proven track record in leadership roles
  • Strong understanding of employer branding and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Proficient in utilising various recruitment platforms, social media, and networking to source candidates
  • Experience in organising and conducting career fairs, employer branding campaigns, and recruitment events
  • Experience in promoting jobs in various social / professional media platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with local and overseas hiring regulations and labour market trends.
  • Self-driven, outgoing and dynamic personality and disposition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills
