Over the last 12 years, Merry Bees has planned and performed at over 2,000 successful events and created a plethora of digital content for clients. They provide event, business, and talent services, among other things. Managing a diverse range of talents, including show hosts, singers, musicians, and entertainers, they have entertained and produced stages of all kinds. The Merry Bees event and content creation ecosystem is complete with its own fleet of audiovisual equipment, which is operated by the company's own sound engineers, graphic artists, videographers, and editors, enabling them to conceptualize, plan, and manage your event from start to end.

Job Description

What will you learn:

  • Ability to design, create and plan digital content on social media platforms such as FB, IG, YouTube and Tiktok.
  • Be able to write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
  • Learn the importance of meticulousness in administrative tasks
  • Understand the value and meaning of paid marketing advertisements
  • Be able to coordinate and write blog articles for company websites based on long tail keywords.
  • Gain coordination skills with various parties to ensure successful campaigns
  • Gain exposure and network with industry partners by being on-site to shoot events and performances for the Company and clients.
  • Practice and learn how to use post-production video editing software such as Final Cut Pro / Adobe Premiere Pro
  • One-to-one mentorship with Director of Sales & Marketing and other team leaders.
  • Soft skills that will never be taught in the classroom

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Audio and Video Engineer in an events or live production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems, including PA systems, video equipment, and projection technology.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard audio and video software and hardware
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
  • A strong understanding of audio engineering principles and video production workflows.
  • A background in live events
