The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and business development of steel pipes across sectors such as oil & gas, construction, shipbuilding, water infrastructure, and manufacturing, while managing key customer relationships and market opportunities.
It also involves providing technical advice, coordinating orders with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with international standards to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Description
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for steel pipes (seamless, welded, API/ASTM grades).
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across oil & gas, construction, shipbuilding, water infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.
- Deliver impactful technical and commercial presentations to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and contractors.
- Ensure timely response to inquiries, quotations, and orders while following up to secure repeat business.
- Possess solid knowledge of steel pipe specifications, grades, standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO), and coatings/linings.
- Provide technical advice to clients and collaborate with manufacturers to develop accurate bids and proposals.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Recommend new initiatives to strengthen market presence.
- Liaise with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Monitor project timelines and resolve issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial or technical products.
- Familiarity with international product standards is an advantage.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
