Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries through various communication channels, including email, telephone, and written correspondence.
- Advise customers on product availability, delivery times, and locations.
- Ensure the precise and timely processing of customer orders.
- Prepare necessary documentation, input orders into the company's system, and monitor their status.
- Manage special orders for items not commonly in stock and notify customers upon arrival.
- Coordinate the filing of correspondence and handle shipping and delivery documents.
- Process necessary documentation for sales meetings, track sales records, and participate in sales meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments, including technical and accounts, to address product queries and manage customer transactions.
- Independently manage all shipping and customs invoices while liaising with forwarders and shipping agents.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to meet all commitments and adjust priorities seamlessly when necessary.
- Verify order confirmations against purchase orders and alert the supply chain regarding any discrepancies.
- Negotiate rates with appointed forwarders in accordance with company buying policies.
- Oversee inbound traffic coordination to ensure cost-effectiveness and track all consignments.
Requirements:
- Possession of a professional certificate, GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a capacity to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
