We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Specialist, Individual Health and EB Underwriting.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- To work closely with assistant manager, Individual and EB Underwriting to grow individual health portfolio, handle underwriting and administrative tasks related to Individual Underwriting and Business Development teams
- Underwrite medical conditions of lives for small groups in accordance with agreed underwriting guidelines and within agreed servicing standards
- Review conditional acceptance letters and memo, reply to underwriting enquiries and update underwriting decision and terms via system
- Call for additional underwriting and medical requirements
- Process medical report invoices incurred for underwriting
- Process renewal invitation letters
- Prudent and consistent underwriting decision within the agreed turnaround time
- Review and automate work processes and standard operating procedure related to underwriting, whenever necessary
- Be involved in system enhancement and testing projects when required

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Team player with experience in individual medical and life underwriting
- Knowledge in medical terminology
- Min 2 to 3 years of underwriting and administrative experience
- Bachelor’s degree / Polytechnic Diploma
