We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Youth Mental Health Specialist. In this role, you will provide expert counselling services, mentor junior staff, and lead the Counselling & Therapy Service (CTS) for young individuals.
Responsibilities:- Initiate and/or participate in outreach efforts related to youth mental health
- Oversee the delivery of Counselling & Therapy Service, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients
- Develop strategies and implement them for the growth and development of CTS
- Provide comprehensive counselling assessments, interventions, and case management for clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with youths and managing trauma-related cases
- Excellent knowledge and skills in providing counselling interventions in individual and group settings
- Master's degree in counselling or equivalent, with at least 7 years of experience in the social service sector
- Registered counsellor with a recognized professional body (e.g., SAC, SPS)
- Prior experience in providing case and clinical supervision to social service practitioners and/or counsellors
