**The Job Description**:
Working with a small team of dynamic individuals, the Associate will assist with the execution of private events that include weddings, anniversaries, and private parties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide key support to overall team operations by planning internal staff meetings, preparing meeting agendas, recording discussions and providing follow up reports
- Assist the team with the execution of private events by providing required administrative support
- Manage guest list for invitation cards, RSVP, dietary restrictions and seating plan
- Pack and arrange necessary supplies and equipment to be transported to the event venue promptly
- Ensuring that clients' gifts and personal property are packed away and secured in an assigned vehicle or storage room
- Provide support during events
- Create and maintain accurate and up to date records and files for all event management projects and ensure that all proposals, guest lists, events photos and contracts are properly filed
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
- Maintain current information in corporate databases for business contacts and vendor lists
- Maintain vendor relations and serve as a point of contact for all selected vendors for each event

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Event Management, Marketing, Communications and New Media, Mass Communications, or related field
- High level of organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Passion for events
- Meticulous with strong attention to details
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Positive attitude, resourceful nature and excellent problem-solving capabilities
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills, is proactive and able to work independently
- Some night and weekend work are required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
