**Rakuten Travel Xchange** is a hotel distribution service providing travel retailers around the world with easy access to hotel rates and inventories through a single source. Travel businesses will be able to manage their entire hotel inventory needs from a single API connection, via a tailored web portal or template solutions, or its Travel Agent Portal, without spending valuable resources on integrating multiple supply partners.
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for performing a variety of HR functions, including, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, and HR reporting.
**Responsibilities**:
**Onboarding and Offboarding**:
- Schedule and conduct orientation for new hires, including introduction to the company culture, policies and house rules.
- Set up and maintain employee records in HRIS.
- Provide new hires with information on benefits, including health insurance, and any other employee benefits.
- Conduct exit interviews with employees and gather feedback on their experience with the company.
- Collect all company property, including laptops, phones, and other equipment.
- Process final pay checks and ensure that all outstanding expenses, such as travel, or reimbursements are settled.
**Performance Management**:
- Monitoring and administering employee performances. (Create performance metrics, goals, and provide feedback and coaching to employees.)
**Compliance**:
- Ensuring that the company is in compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee records, update policies and procedures.
- Assist with audit and compliance reports.
- ISMS Management (Managing ISMS list, Compliance training).
**Payroll and Benefits**:
- Calculate monthly salaries and wages, allowances, payroll-related taxes, overtime pay and compensation.
- Develop and implement Compensation & Benefits strategy and programs.
**Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)**:
- Create or maintain the HR database and maintain employee records (Zoho, Workday, Times.
- Maintaining employee list and organization chart.
- Ensure that all HR related information is updated on **Rakuten Travel Xchange’s **confluence page / Sharepoint
- Managing external HR vendors (Galaxy, AIA, Minmed, RM, Chubb etc).
**Other ad hoc related HR and administration tasks**:
- Ordering and arranging of employees’ business cards.
- Access card preparation.
- Collection of items / mail from mailbox.
**Requirements**:
- Degree/Diploma in HR related discipline.
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in HR related role
- Highly motivated self-starter with independent decision-making ability and excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong project management & Analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups including senior management.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
