**About this opportunity**

We are seeking a motivated lawyer providing legal advice to Align’s regional teams in APAC on all phases of new product launches, regional legal affairs relating to iTero and other commercial projects and initiatives in APAC. You will tackle topics such as marketing, regulatory licenses, telemedicine, consumer protection, intellectual property, advertising and privacy that arise out of the operation and growth of Align’s Invisalign®, iTero and exocad businesses in APAC. You’ll leverage good judgment and a strong business sense to assist product, marketing, business development and other teams develop thoughtful regional strategies towards product development, digital solutions, business innovations and process improvements while assessing and mitigating legal risks.

This is a full-time position based in Singapore, reporting to Align’s Regional General Counsel, APAC.

**In this role, you will**
- Review products, features, and initiatives to provide advice consistent with Align’s legal obligations in multiple jurisdictions of APAC
- Draft, manage and approve the templates of regional contracts, pricing terms and conditions, terms of use and privacy policies in relation to new product and project launches and implementation in APAC
- Review and approve regional marketing collaterals, promotions, consumer and customer communications, FAQs
- Advise and coordinate with both local counsels within APAC Legal team and other cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Marketing, Clinical, Corporate Communications, Finance and others in relation to new product and project launches and implementation in APAC
- Advise and support new business initiatives and development projects for APAC
- Advise on a range of legal and compliance issues, regulation requirements and industry standards with a focus on marketing, consumer protection and med-tech regulations at the regional level
- Be the primary point of contact for legal support to iTero business in all APAC markets. Work with all market counsels to ensure the highest standard of legal service provided to iTero APAC business.
- Keep current on relevant industry standards, laws, and regulations of major jurisdictions in APAC, and collaborate with legal team members to improve regional processes and ensure business demands are satisfied

**In this role, you’ll need **
- Law degree and appropriate license to practice laws in China, Singapore, Australia, Japan or any other major jurisdiction in APAC.
- At least 8 years’ minimum post-bar experience, ideally a combination of an international law firm and in-house experience with MNCs in life science or technology industry.
- Experience of working on product or business development or other projects across markets at a technology, pharmaceutical or medical device company
- Be highly motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated initiative, adaptability and integrity
- Be a confident and collaborative team player; ability to develop relationships and networks at all levels
- Have excellent communication skills with strong but diplomatic presence
- Have the proven ability to deal positively when working within deadlines and demanding clients
- Have the ability to handle a high volume of activity involving multiple and often complex projects simultaneously and to identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to improve efficiencies
