Fp&a Lead

**Role Summary/Purpose**

The FP&A Lead will provide finance leadership for APAC and China region in meeting short-term and long-term financial and operational goals within FieldCore. The individual will identify key financial, operational targets and implement requisite management and tracking of performance against these targets. Responsible for proactive communication to and from our internal customers to maintain the most current levels of information and reporting.

**Essential Function**
- Own overall pacing, closing, financial reporting, planning rigour, and operating reviews for the region.
- Lead quarterly pacing reviews, co-ordinate efforts across stakeholders and drive ongoing financial reporting and analysis to leadership teams.
- Lead annual planning cycle and reporting requirements deadlines are met by facilitating and coordinating efforts across multiple internal customers
- Drive operating forecasts and track/ measure conformity to Operating Plan; partner GE business to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- Conduct variance analysis/ operational correspondence in a timely fashion to stay current
- Drive overall cost management plan, and manage T&L, Bullet Train Spend, and other overheads
- Manage monthly and quarterly closing activities and reporting rigour on income statement
- Lead efforts working with the Financial systems teams to build reports that are critical to business operations
- Partner with Invoice-to-cash team to ensure timely billing, collections and issues resolution to drive overall process excellence.
- Participate in special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
- 5+ years experience in corporate finance budgeting and forecasting
- 1+ year managing and developing employees

- Self-starter who works well independently as well as in a matrixed environment
- Minimal travel required
