As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and implementing sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy. Reporting to Asia Regional Business Manager for Blending Business Line, you will be developing and driving sales opportunities (both Solutions and Services) to meet budget expectations in his/her assigned countries/region. Specifically for this role, you will be part of the ABB Energy Industries Blending business line that has offered engineering expertise in formulation processes for over 60 years. We have built more than 1200 process solutions worldwide. We as ABB Blending expertise has design, supply and commission full automated formulation plants for industries such as lubricants & greases, paints & coatings including resins production, specialty chemicals such as Adhesives, and pulp & paper chemical delivery system. We provide specialized engineering in turnkey blending, mixing and formulation plants for Lube Oil Blending Plants (LOBP), Grease Manufacturing Units (batch/continuous), Additives (fuel and lubricants), Paints & Coatings, Resins & Specialty Chemicals with our State-of-the-art equipment and leading-edge blending, mixing, transfer and control technologies.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Achieving and exceeding quantitative and qualitative assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
- Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers, building, and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers and ensuring efficient marketing communications
- Identifying customer needs and competitor offers through market analysis, whilst ensuring efficient marketing actions and communications demonstrate the value proposition of the products, systems, service, and packages
- Taking ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs
- Ensuring and drives profitable growth for the countries in his region
- Achieving sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency
- Executing the Go to Market strategy
- Frequent Travelling and meeting customers are expected in the ASIA region
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of sales experiences covering ASIA region, experiences in ASEAN and/or North Asia market would be preferred
- Solid sales professional with demonstrated complex sales experiences across various territory
- Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products, and service categories
- Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management and commercial and legal terms
- Strong communication and negotiating skills, customer-focused mindset and influencing skills
- Knowledge in engaging customers in the field of lubricant blending, paint manufacturing, Resin and/or specialty chemical (adhesives etc.) production is preferred
- Experience in solutions bundling (Modular Skids, engineered packages including Electrical, Instruments, Automation Systems) is preferred
