The Strategy Management Information Team (SMIT) is responsible for the digital transformation of SGInnovate. SMIT drives and oversees progress on two fronts: (1) key digital product transformation projects and (2) data & analytics asset development. Data & analytics asset development entails building the data pipeline from source to data warehouse, before finally delivering insights to end user via dashboards.

**Responsibilities**:
We are looking for an Assistant Product Manager to help develop key products and platforms for SGInnovate. As part of our digital transformation project, the team needs to deliver useful and effective online platforms to help the various teams scale up in terms of engagements in events, workshops, jobs, and programmes. The Assistant Product Manager will need to gather and shape requirements, as well as ensure that they are properly delivered by our vendors. He/she will need to oversee and manage all enhancement and defect fixing work along the way. The role shall work closely with the Project Manager and Product Lead to ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
**Typical tasks and responsibilities include**:
- Develop programmes and initiatives to strengthen the capabilities of founders
- Advise startup founders in areas such as sales, operations, product and marketing
- Account manage portfolio startups - attend investor meetings, manage portfolio reporting and support the startup with their needs
- Lead the commercialisation of research being developed in universities and other institutes

- ** Product Delivery**: Collaborate with external vendors to deliver product functionality iteratively and rapidly against pre-defined requirements
- ** Documentation**: Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure that all user requirements and technical designs are documented clearly and meticulously in specification documents
- ** Product QA**: Identify, prioritise, and resolve technical, functional, and business quality issues across use cases that are applicable to the product. Work closely with vendors to fix defects or enhance the platform.
- ** Voice of key stakeholders**: Gather feedback from users of the platforms to understand how they engage with the product, make better decisions, and drive meaningful outcomes for the business
- ** Others**:
- Liaise with Project Manager on project delivery and deployments
- Manage product as per project timeline and prioritise tasks accordingly
- Work with the team to establish best practices for project and product management
- Manage process, standards, and procedures to minimise rework and system failures
- Assist the team in change management through the delivery of guides and/or communication materials
- Negotiate with vendors and across teams to ensure adequate resources are available during various phases of the project
- Build relationships with business users, vendors and management to determine and resolve issues associated with systems implementation
- Follow and adopt industry standards and agile development practices to accommodate rapid customer-driven specification changes.
**Requirements**:
- ** Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering or any other related fields
- ** Tangible**:
- Experience in driving elements of product development life cycle from vision to execution (i.e. product vision, GTM strategy, driving requirements and product launch)
- Hands-on experience with web technologies
- Familiar with product and project lifecycle for technology products
- Familiar in project management and the various methodologies (e.g. Agile, waterfall, etc)
- Working knowledge on commercial cloud managed services (e.g. AWS - EC2/S3/etc, GCP, etc)
- Good to have aptitude and working knowledge of data analytics
