**Consumer & Market Insights Manager (Qualitative Focus), Asia Pacific**

This focal point position as the Consumer & Market Insights Manager will be playing a key role in leading regional consumer understanding with a strong focus on Qualitative research to fulfil our vision of a continuous growth and bring healthier food & flavors to consumers through creation and connecting insights to help steer & support meaningful business impact. Additionally, you will be given opportunities to bring in your own innovative research designs, work with experts of different research domains in the team, with a strong interaction with internal stakeholders.

**The Position**:

- _Asia Pacific Consumer & Market Insights_
- Acting as an in-house consultant and insights campion to collaborate with cross-functional teams to answer business questions by using relevant research and data from below areas:

- Consumer understanding (usage, attitude, behaviour, preferences)
- Brand / product performance/consumer feedback
- Market / Product / Flavor Trends
- Customized market & category needs
- Support strategy planning and client engagement by connecting insights generated from primary researches (Qual, Quanti) and secondary research data (such as various databases, desk research, social data etc).
- With a focus on Qualitative approaches, be responsible for building Consumer Understanding across APAC region:

- Lead in-house Qualitative research, including design (questionnaire, logics), data analysis and reporting to answer business questions in a fast and agile manner
- Work with agencies to design (brief, questionnaire, analytical plan) and deliver (reporting, presentation) regional level consumer research
- Ensure research projects are conducted with excellence quality of execution, deliverable, insights, and recommendations, and meet the set timeline

2. Optimize & Building Qualitative Research Tools
- Continuously optimize and build qualitative research and analytical capability and tools, manage the agency relationships
- Cascade and train market teams in APAC region on the use of those tools and capabilities to scale and maximum the business impact
- 3. Communicate Insights within organization and drive actions._
- Leverage innovative ways to communicate insights within organization to maximize the impact
- Organize and lead workshops with teams to drive outcome based on insights generated.
- Min Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Sociology/Food Science or related disciplines.
- Possess at least 7 years’ experience in Market Research/ Insight’s role within Food/Beverage or Nutrition industries with experience from FMCG/Research/Consulting agencies that work closely with these industries are an added advantage.
- Strong expertise in complex Qualitative research & data analysis work.
- Strong ability in generating insight and recommendation based on multiple data sources
- Experience with digital content analysis (including social media analysis/social listening/eCommerce analysis is an added advantage
- Adapter for analytical tools and methodologies and has excellent working knowledge with Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Does possess excellent communication skills including creating engaging convincing presentation with the ability of a storytelling approach.
