**The Role**:

The Head of Global HRSS is responsible for leading the design and implementation of the Shared Services function including the processes, tools and metrics that optimise HR services and solutions. This role will establish and refine operational efficiencies and streamline all transactional processing within Human Resources. The Head of Global HRSS will partner with the HR and Business Leadership Team to understand strategic priorities and business needs ensuring service delivery capabilities and solutions are effectively and efficiently leveraged.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Define HRSS strategy, scope of delivery, service quality goals and budgets for the regions.
- Build the global shared services function including the identifying, hiring and training of appropriate team members.
- Lead the global HRSS team and effectively translate business priorities and needs to design and execute transformation agenda.
- Direct and sustain the continued development and implementation of efficient transaction processes, teams and support systems that are aligned to the strategic HR goals.
- Act as a change agent to drive innovation and process improvements.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for decision making and escalations ensuring service levels are met and/or exceeded and all operation metrics are trending in a positive direction
- Review, update and implement organisational processes/procedures to ensure operational compliance with all applicable regulations in the regions where the organisation operates at.
- Design and own the employee service experience and ensure alignment to the overall organisation’s strategy and culture.
- Effectively analyse large amounts of complex data into relevant insights and usable information; presentation of insights to senior business leaders in a logical, concise manner; and establish appropriate metrics through use of data.
- Foster strong relationships with the business to understand business needs and identify opportunities to contribute to measurable business outcomes.
- Lead team of transactional volume and specialised service providers, including value adding services.
- Provide specialist expertise on most complex HR administrative or specialist issues.
- Manage all activities and projects involving HR systems and digitalization that support the development of HR technology while ensuring compliance and alignment of internal processes

**The Required Experience and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- More than 15 years of experience in various HR-related areas, with at least 5 years in senior management level and extensive experience and a thorough understanding of operational excellence within HR Shared Services processes and practice.
- Demonstrated project leadership, organisational, analytical, and problem solving skills and work effectively in a global business with an understanding of cross-cultural differences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personality types at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated capability to take a data-driven approach to strategy development and operational management.
- Bilingual in both spoken and written English & Chinese languages to deal with colleagues in the China region.
