Program Design Manager

**Position Overview**:
The Program Design Manager will manage all design phases of TCCC Real-Estate projects in APAC and EMEA and act as the primary liaison of design with the local and/or preferred Architecture & Design firm, Graphic Design Lead, Implementation Manager, Project Manager and Regional Program Managers.

You will be expected to resolve technical/design issues to maintain progress and quality control that meet TCCC Workplace Strategy. You will be responsible to ensure the project meet building codes, budgets, and all necessary deadlines to completion.

**What You Will Do**:

- Act as the intermediary between GWS Design Team, Project Team, and external Architect & Design firm
- Manage all design phases of TCCC Real-Estate projects
- Team leader of design projects that include incorporating programming needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
- Create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements
- Participate in Architecture & Design firm bid and selection process
- Keep Senior Global Design Manager informed of project progress and phases
- Understand and interpret visioning results and programming needs into test fits and spatial needs and requirements
- Resolve complex technical and design issues
- Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction from standards and visioning
- Bring Graphic Design Lead into projects at the right time to effectively impact visual experience of physical space through interior and architectural finishes,

graphic storytelling, experiential installations
- Bring in Implementation Manager in at the right time to see through furniture and
- Coordinate deliverable timelines for Graphic Design Lead and Implementation Manager development and key stakeholder presentation of holistic design
- Present spatial design approach to key-stakeholders
- Communicate Architectural and Interior Finish feedback or approval from Graphic Design Lead to A&D, meeting budget requirements
- Ensuring experience of associates and space is met through Experience team insights and contribution
- Coordinate branding install and/or partnering with IT on installation
- Foster and cultivate a culture of design of the office and strives to elevate design quality on projects
- Drive efficiencies in project development timelines by creating and maintaining spatial standards and guidelines
- Networked to TCCC Global Design and Design Functions across TCCC Portfolio
- Benchmark and research best in class examples to influence industry leading work
- Ideate on new strategic initiatives and evaluate past projects for continuous improvements
- Create Test Fits of spaces in AutoCAD as necessary for design process
- Review Design Drawings and implement changes as necessary to align with GWS Design Standards

**Your Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
- 6-8 years of related project management experience on a range of design projects and experience within the fields of architecture or interior design.
- Professional license or certification preferred.
- NCIDQ/CID
- AutoCAD Expertise
- Experience negotiating project scope, fees, managing project financial performance, and ensuring fiscal responsibility for projects.
- Experience with the full project lifecycle
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures.
- Basic technical understanding of architectural design, interior and furniture design.
- Experience with project management software, such as MS Project, a plus
- Knowledge in sustainable design principles required
- LEED, WELL, Fitwel, LFA or other rating systems accreditation preferable
- Understand key principles for leading and achieving net zero projects.
- Capacity to drive sustainability focused discussions with clients and teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills and ability to covey concepts verbally
- Works well in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced environment
