About the job
The role is responsible for selling Alfa Laval products and services within the assigned area of responsibility and providing direct support to customers, including complex quotations and advance technical support (including sizing & selection).
Key tasks:
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services;
- Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.
- Be active in the market and focus on inside customer interactions, but including some visits, focusing on customer needs. Understanding and delivering the value of our products and services.
- Develop complex and value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up.
- Actively follow up the quote in order to understand If the proposed value is understood and if it is matching the customer needs.
- Provide direct support to customer during the quotation process with advanced technical support (including sizing & selection)
- Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decision.
- Proactive looking for upselling opportunities

What you know?
- Relevant business administrative or engineering certification.
- CRM experience
- Practical experience in inside sales.
- Marine equipment and technical background preferred. (aftersales, spare parts & service)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent team player and ability to collaborate well with different stakeholders
- High customer service orientation.
- Has worked in company with international setting, and has worked with a matrix organization.
- High integrity and professionalism.
- Self-motivated team player with positive attitude and drive to excel
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
