Position Overview:
As the Business Development Manager for Consulting Solutions and Training Programmes, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our consulting services and training offerings. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating sales leads, forging partnerships and deals, closing deals and contracts, and nurturing relationships with clients to promote our consulting and training solutions. This role requires a dynamic, motivated, and results-oriented individual who can envision the potential for our services and translate it into tangible growth.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and achieve aggressive sales targets for our consulting solutions and training programmes.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential competitors, using the insights to refine our offerings and stay ahead of the competition.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their unique challenges, and tailoring our consulting and training services to meet their specific requirements.
4. Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, cold calling, and other lead generation techniques.
5. Proposal Development: Collaborate with the consulting and training teams to develop compelling and customized proposals, responding to RFPs, and delivering persuasive presentations to potential clients.
6. Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms while aligning with company objectives and client expectations.
7. Sales Performance Metrics: Analyze deals and sales data and metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance overall sales performance.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including consultants, trainers, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of projects and maximize client satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
1. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of consulting services, training methodologies, and business development strategies in the corporate sector.
2. Relationship Building: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and cultivate long-term client relationships.
3. Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and devise innovative solutions to address client needs.
4. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver impactful presentations and proposals.
5. Result-Oriented: Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently to achieve sales goals.

Education Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma; Degree preferred.
**Experience**:
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development, sales, or consulting roles, preferably within the consulting or training industry.
