The Duke-NUS Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) Programme studies the causes and treatments of cancer and related diseases. The CSCB research groups have diverse programmes in both basic cancer biology and clinical-translational studies, with a special emphasis on cancers that affect the Asian community in general.
- Perform scientific experiments related to Cancer Epigenetics and Cancer Genomics.
- Perform basic data analysis on cancer genomics data to obtain insights on the human cancer landscape.
- Generate experimental data and be involved in manuscript writing for high impact journals publication.
- Deliver scientific presentations.
- Collaborate with clinicians and scientists by contributing scientific expertise.
- Assist with laboratory-related duties including laboratory administration.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein.

**Job Requirements**:

- PhD in a Biology related field with prior postdoctoral experience.
- Experience with next generation sequencing techniques (e.g. CRISPR-Cas9, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, RNA-seq etc).
- Experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g. Cell culture, Transfection/Transduction, Western Blot, qPCR and Cell cloning etc).
- Knowledge of programming skills (e.g R and/or Python etc) will be advantageous.
- Some experience with next generation sequencing data analysis (e.g. whole-exome/whole-genome sequencing, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq etc), especially for human cancers will be advantageous.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and committed team player.
- A track record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant areas to be provided.
- Good scientific reading and writing skills, including generation of manuscript figures.
