Research Fellow

Conduct animal, cell culture, biochemistry and molecular biology research.
- Write and review research papers, present research outcomes, conceptualise new ideas and develop plans for independent research which could have a considerable influence and impact on the relevant field attracting research funding.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to undergraduate / medical students and research assistants.
- Maintain optimal experiment progress in the laboratory or in the research work undertaken.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein.
**Job Requirements**:
- PhD degree in Science, Health Sciences or equivalent with relevant research experience working in wet laboratory.
- Possess laboratory experimental skills such as molecular and cellular biology including cell culture, Western blotting, RNA and DNA extraction and cloning.
- Have experience in tissue histology, sectioning and immunostaining techniques.
- Prior experience in confocal microscopy and florescent imaging would be advantageous.
- Possess skills in small animal handling and husbandry including anaesthesia, health monitoring, and tissue dissection.
- A strong team player with a collaborative mindset who is open-minded, energetic and highly motivated.
