The Regional Marketing Manager, SMB Acquisition role is an exciting opportunity to help introduce TikTok to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) regional SMB community and motivate consideration at scale. This is a key role in the Upper Funnel segment of the larger SMB GBM team, charged with helping shape our global SMB acquisition marketing strategy and managing execution across the region.
**Responsibilities**:
Overall, the Regional Marketing Manager, SMB Acquisition is responsible for helping grow SMB awareness, consideration, and lead generation at scale across our key markets in the APAC region. You'll achieve this through a variety of strategic partnerships, programming, campaigns, and channel marketing efforts. Specific responsibilities include:
- Support development of comprehensive regional SMB acquisition marketing strategy.
- Develop and maintain a clear understanding of country-specific nuance and needs and support adjustments in each key market as appropriate across strategy, messaging, programming, etc.
- Share ownership of regional acquisition targets relating to traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
- Collaborate closely with counterparts in other regions to co-develop creative ideas, learnings, and efficiencies.
- Execute activities and collaborations to expand the reach and impact of enablement programming, managing all related tasks including developing creative/project briefs, localizing content, working with agencies, engaging partners, etc.
- Contribute to organic marketing channel strategy (website, social, blog, newsletter, etc) to boost in-region traffic and engagement.
- Build data collection mechanisms into all programming; collect and track data, assess progress to goals, and provide recommendations to improve results.
- Work closely with Regional SMB Sales team counterparts to align on programming.
- Regularly report on strategy progress, opportunities, and challenges.
- Collaborate with SMB Regional Marketing teams on joint Upper Funnel initiatives.
- Identify thought leadership and other strategic positioning opportunities within SMB marketing landscape (conferences, events, panels, etc.).
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant marketing role; experience working in a global team is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, executing innovative strategies that have driven quantifiable results.
- Understanding of the SMB competitive landscape in APAC and knowledge of general SMB needs and challenges.
- High degree of proficiency in project management.
- Creative mindset but with results-orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to create polished, persuasive presentation materials for both internal and external audiences.
- Understanding of key marketing impact metrics and at least basic level of experience with data tracking and analysis.
- Natural collaborator, with ability to accommodate competing ideas and priorities.
- Passion for TikTok.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, plus at least one Asian language.
- Bonus points for in-depth expertise in at least one of the following areas: 1) design/content production, 2) content/brand strategy, and/or 3) measurement/analysis
