This is a highly strategic role within the Market Access team that will be managing industry leading portfolio of products that can transform the lives of patients across the Therapeutic Areas (TA) of Janssen. The TA areas of Jansen include Oncology & Haematology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Infectious diseases & Vaccine, Pulmonary hypertension, Ophthalmology, and Cardiovascular & Metabolism.

The Strategic Pricing Manager will work closely with the Therapeutic Area (TA) Market Access (MA) Leaders, Therapeutic Area Commercial Leads in managing strategic pricing across Janssen Therapeutic Areas. The post holder will lead the Immunology, Infectious diseases & Vaccine and Pulmonary hypertension TAs pricing strategy at AP level, as well as lead or be involved in strategic pricing projects relevant to the therapy areas. It is expected that the post holder would provide Asia pacific inputs to indications in the pipeline and take a lead on linking pricing to early pricing and Janssen’s real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives in the above TA. The post holder will further identify and analyse therapy area pricing issues that are/or will become business critical and to work with the MA team and Commercial Colleagues and Global to develop clear plans that will optimize revenues across the region and enhance Janssen’s competitive advantage.

**Key responsibilities will cover**:

- Manage prices for established brands across TA in line with global guidance including review of business cases and providing clear recommendations to AP regional management and global
- Define Regional Pricing strategy for the launch products for the life cycle
- Run regional pricing/payer research and translate these insights to build clear regional strategies
- Define launch sequencing for countries across multiple indications
- Lead implementation of regional pricing strategies and tactics, working closely with operating companies to find innovative solutions that deliver access whilst optimizing long-term value for AP markets
- Recommendations on pricing assumptions across AP for key business planning processes: BP, LRFP and PPP
- Review how evidence generation plans, and RWE strategies can defend or substantiate pricing potential, through close working with Market Access colleagues
- Monitor TA-quality metrics / adherence to defined pricing strategy
- Provide pricing assessment for NBD evaluations, early products development and regulatory strategy
- Provide AP pricing perspective into global
- Clinical development programs, incl. TPPs
- Payer / pricing research
- Shape global Access & Pricing Strategy for portfolio over the life cycle
- Be a true business partner, working with OpCos to explore and find solutions to pricing challenges and to support them in the development of business cases for pricing submission

**Key deliverables will include**:

- Regional Pricing Guidance
- Launch Sequencing for countries & multiple indications' scenario, considering IRP and competitive landscape
- Pricing approval: Review and prepare recommendations / lead discussions, approvals & documentation
- Business planning & LRFP Brand pricing guidance & forecast
- Preparing P&R trackers for strategic TA

**Qualifications**
ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- The role is preferred Singapore based and will involve travel (>30%) across key AP markets

Essential Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced degree in a science, business or related field
- Consolidated expertise in Pharmaceutical Pricing and Market Access with a good knowledge of healthcare systems in key AP markets
- Track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies
- Strategic problem solver, capable of seeing the big picture and yet be analytical
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Adept teammate, able to nurture positive relationships with internal and external partners across multiple countries and cultures
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Fluency in mandarin would be beneficial but not a must
