**Office of the Registrar**:

- Driving the development and review of data protection policies and processes;
- Ensuring compliance with the PDPA through data protection policies and processes;
- Fostering a personal data protection culture within SUSS and communicating the SUSS personal data protection policies to stakeholders;
- Reviewing regulatory changes to the PDPA and assessing the impact of these changes on the university data protection policy and ensuring that the Data Protection Committee and their respective departments comply with the regulatory changes;
- Identifying and alerting management to any risk that might arise with regard to the personal data handled by SUSS;
- Ensuring that university staff and functional personnel responsible for carrying out data protection work are trained;
- Handling access and correction requests to personal data;
- Managing personal data protection-related queries and complaints; and
- Engaging with the PDPC on personal data protection matters, if necessary.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree Holder with 8 years' relevant working experience
- Mature, meticulous and possess high level of discretion and integrity
- Effective interpersonal skills with excellent command of written and spoken English
- Resourceful team player who is able to work independently and display initiative
- Able to do data analysis and information research
- Able to communicate well so as to act as liaison and help reach out to stakeholders, such as faculty and admin staff from other departments and divisions as well as associates and other stakeholders
