**What the role is**
- The Communications and Engagement Division (CED) informs and educates the public on the work of the Ministry, plans and strategises communications and engagement plans in the Ministry, including outreach to stakeholders, ensures the quality of service delivered to the public.
The officer will strategise, develop and execute integrated communications plans to shape MSF's policies, programmes and events to acquire positive mindshare for the work of the Ministry.

**What you will be working on**
- Responsibilities:
Media Analysis and Sensing:

- Monitor media activities and reports to assess potential ramifications on MSF and recommend suitable response.

Communications Strategy:

- Develop communications strategies and programmes to support agency leaders and policymakers in achieving policy/agency/ national objectives.
- Perform staffing and provide liaison support to MSF Political Office Holders and Senior Management Team, including language and translation support for speeches and interviews.

Message Framing and Delivery:

- Craft and deliver messages in a manner that is aligned to communications strategy and objectives while considering different target audiences.

Media Relations:

- Develop media engagement strategies and foster media relationships to manage media responses and further the Ministry’s organisational goals.

Competencies required:

- Tertiary education in mass communications, journalism, public relations, or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Self-driven, adaptable and a good team player with an eye for detail
- Proficiency in a mother-tongue language would be an advantage
