
Senior Sales Manager Asia Pacific

**Job Objective**
Manage and oversee the sales operations of the Knitting Division, Product Group Circular Knitting, in the Asia Pacific region.
Increase the Groz-Beckert market share in the assigned territory.
Achieve maximum sales growth and market penetration by effectively selling the company’s products and related services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and expand Groz-Beckert market position in the South-East Asian markets via direct sales as well as via Groz-Beckert subsidiaries.
- Grow the business to resellers, machine builders, but with main focus on end customers.
- Develop the relationship with sourcing networks as well as with buying-houses for GB to be the preferred contact point.
- Implement and promote the SEWING5 all around support by Groz-Beckert furthermore develop GB service and solutions for end customers.
- Increase the Groz-Beckert brand awareness
- Expand and develop the GB local presence in strategic markets.
- Lead and support the implementation of the GB sales strategy in the Asian markets.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Manage major and critical developing customer accounts.
- Participate in the development of new project proposals as required.
- Establish and implement short
- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures as required by the Company’s management.
- Responsible for overseeing all sales activities in assigned regions.
- Define and manage annual sales budgets, pricing strategies, sales targets, and turnover objectives.
- Oversee and control marketing and travel expenditures in alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Lead and manage direct sales employees, ensuring clear communication, direction, and performance management.
- Guide and develop a sales team across selected subsidiaries, fostering collaboration and growth.
- Represent Groz-Beckert at exhibitions, industry conventions, and client-facing events.
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a têxtile-related discipline.
- Minimum of 20 years’ experience in sales development for a foreign company, with a strong track record in the Sewing/Textile/Garment industry.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in business development, marketing, and sales leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of engaging and influencing key stakeholders.
- Effective leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Open-minded and innovative, with a willingness to try new approaches.Confident, assertive, and persuasive when required.
**Other Work Conditions**
- This role requires frequent business travel, approximately 50% of the working time.
