DHL Express Global Business IT Team has an opening for **Technical Solution Manager**. This purpose of the role is:

- Manage, develop and drive concurrent projects/products/platforms within a domain.
- Possess competence in analyzing, designing, building or technically managing solutions that meet the business needs.
- Perform various roles in quality assurance, configuration, testing, training and documentation of services required to implement/integrate the final solution.
- Demonstrate expertise on specific technology, product or platform, to be able to manage their build and run components.

As the expert of the technology, product or platform, the Technical Solution Manager is responsible for the delivery of solutions planned in the Global IT Roadmaps. The Technical Solution Manager manages projects to agreed scope, cost, quality and governance, analyze processes, design systems, define target solutions, evaluate/select software and tools, drive the development of solutions.

**YOUR TASKS**
- Ensure programs/projects appropriately re-use and implement technologies.
- Interact and coordinate with regions, global domains to resolve technical issues of major significance.
- Ensure compliance with architecture, models and overall strategy.
- Works directly with DHL customers, suppliers as directed by superior, to ensure that projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality.
- Participate in global project teams based on role and involvement.
- Act as BIT lead for global projects with full responsibility on the delivery.
- Design systems in the assigned field, technology, product, tools.
- Leads POC/POV/prototyping to prove the defined target solution.
- Implement agreed build to r run processes, standards, governance and metrics.
- Lead others in developing innovative solutions for complex problems.
- Provide consultation on the technology, platform or tools under the remit or expertise.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
- Minimum 7 years of multi-disciplined IT experience including:

- Experience in large matrixed organization having gained broad expertise managing large, network wide programs and projects tied to business goals.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a multinational enterprise, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
- Global experience, collaboration, building and leading virtual teams.
- IT solutions development, data analysis, systems design, systems integration and solutions implementation experience - proven track record for project managing and delivering complex IT solutions.
- Process knowledge: solid understanding of the process and metrics supporting the business
- Get-it-done attitude: capable to break through organizational silos; manage and achieve goals in a matrix environment; quick to adopt best practice rather than re-invent the wheel.
- Judgment and decision making: applies broad knowledge and sound judgment when evaluating risks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical senior management.
- Ability to team with, and manage, a strong partner/supplier system
- Energetic, enthusiastic, results-oriented manager, with collaborative and participative management style.
- Professional Certification in at least one relevant Project Management Technique (PRINCE2 or PMI) and IT Service Management Technique (ITIL).
- Advanced University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or similar experience/education.
