**The role**
As the Head of APAC, you will act as a strategic enabler and a trusted advisor to CRO and COO to shape sales strategy and enable a sustainable and high performing commercial team. Managing direct sales activity and pipeline within APAC whilst enhancing the regional footprint and overall revenue. Working on a range of strategic projects and initiatives as well as collaborating with teams globally.
You will be responsible for the company's revenue target and growing, mentoring, and empowering account executives, account managers and business development reps to achieve their targets. You will lead by example, acquiring and managing key accounts, while developing, managing, and supporting a team of passionate sales professionals. You will oversee all commercial and contract negotiations.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the commercial team based in Singapore to meet company revenue targets. Own the PL of the overall APAC region and ensure effective growth strategies are in place
- Develop a robust prospecting and lead generation strategy, and ensure execution of that strategy, to build a sustainable pipeline of quality opportunities. Develop revenue forecasts and sales cycle progression forecasts with respect to the opportunity pipeline
- Develop, manage, and evolve a well-defined sales process and methodology to drive consistent sales performance and improve on the commercial teams' ability to win deals.
- Guide the commercial team on building high-quality business cases, sales pitch materials, and deal close plans in order to improve on the commercial team's ability to win deals
- Develop detailed business plans to articulate the APAC growth strategy by sub-region (Singapore, Australia, Greater China, and SEA)
- Defines and ensures implementation of sales strategy, policies and guidelines, in line with the overall business strategy
- Ensures accomplishment of strategic market research and key customer surveys to identify respective strategic business opportunities
- Handle and resolve customer conflicts supporting the account management of key accounts
- Improves on an effective sales organisation and infrastructure to foster cooperation with other parts of the value chain (i.e., Marketing & Communication, Product Management, etc.)
- Responsible for the whole P&L management of the region, including developing new business in Singapore, mainland China and other markets, as well as the supply chain operation.
- Recruit, interview, train, and evaluate sales team members.
- Performing all duties with integrity and in compliance with all company policies.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Driving the efficient running of the APAC leadership team governance
- A key business partner to support the business in expanding rapidly and profitably in APAC.
- Managing and growing key customer accounts and coordinating the management of all other accounts

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong experience in enterprise B2B sales, with at least 7 years in building and managing a team
- Experience in managing diverse commercial teams across major APAC sub-regions (Singapore, Australia, SEA)
- Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organisation.
- Ability to generate leads and identify strategic areas for growth.
- Ability to develop business cases that articulate strategy, value propositions, required investments and financial returns.
- Experience of managing relationships, collaborating, and coordinating with internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority, including Director and Managing level
- Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to distil information into key messages and present succinctly and confidently to senior audience
- An analytical/problem solving mind-set coupled with a desire to get 'hands on' into detail
- Must be able to work under pressure and had consistently leading sales for growth
- Strong local customer network with more than 8 years of Singapor
