Cx Director

The CX Director is the practice leader of the CX/UX department. He/She will support the Head of CX in leading the department in growth and excellence by promoting collaboration within and across the departments, creating a positive environment to develop our talent, while delivering all project and program goals.
He/She also works with other product management departments to ensure consumer requirements and needs are considered and incorporated in the product from the conceptualization to the realization of the product.
He/She will have the ability to quickly understand and translate business needs into requirements and the ability to articulate these needs clearly, to various cross-functional stakeholder groups, at various levels of seniority.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Translate concepts, requirements and/or insights into user flows, wireframes and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing the desired user experiences for digital products and services.
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions that facilitate journeys or re-imagine transactions, processes and flows.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions and rationales that are related to core, and new, functions and features.
- At all times take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs, information structures and content models.
- Identify key ideas and/or requirements to drive projects and how to implement them in multiple channels
- Present various aspects of the user experience to development team and clients
- Track and monitor progress on development and quality of the experience
- Participating in practice building activities (e.g. conference participation, thought leadership development, market offering development, recruiting).
- Providing coaching and mentoring to juniors, peers and leaders.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; Communications
- 8+ years of industry experience, of which 3+ years performing at a Senior level.
- Deep knowledge in Information Architecture, Taxonomy, Content Model and the design principles for iOS, Android and Web Solutions
- Portfolio that demonstrates this deep knowledge, and displays the spectrum of user research, IA, design and usability testing. Please provide examples that illustrate your approach and decisions to delivering solutions and concepts.
- Proficient to expert in: Sketch, Axure, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Visio, Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills, as well as verbal and written skills
- Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams
- Prior experience in a consulting firm or agency preferred
- Prior experience in UI design for mobile devices a plus
