**Placement**

The Mercer Singapore Health Placement team is a strategic division within the business. We focus on research and a thorough understanding of the insurance market to allow us to deliver the best employee benefits solutions to our clients. We work closely with our Client Relationship Managers and carrier partners to develop best in class facility propositions.

**We will count on you to**:

- Run analytics and evaluate clients' insurance programs against facility and market solutions to meet clients requirements
- Cultivate a thorough understanding of insurance markets and Mercer’s facility offerings to be better equipped with basis of proposal
- Assist placement colleagues in remarketing exercise to prepare remarketing report to propose the best solution for the clients under supervision
- Assist placement colleagues during negotiations with facility insurance carriers by securing and comparing submissions, under close supervision
- Prepare proposal components for placement colleagues to secure new business and conversion opportunities under facility arrangements
- Assist more senior placement colleagues during projects and initiatives
- Support client deliverables in insurance broking under facility arrangements such as day-to-day account management and renewals when required

**What you need to have**:

- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. No experience is required
- Keen interest in field of employee benefits, risk management, or broader HR functions
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and to work on a team
- Demonstrable ability or interest in data cleaning, analysis, and recordkeeping
