**A day in the life of a Human Resource Manager **
- Administers and coordinates programs spanning several functional areas, such as day-to-day administration of policies and programs covering recruitment, retention, termination, personnel records and long-term staffing strategies.
- Develops and co-ordinates the implementation of plans and programs of employee compensation and benefits that provide a competitive level of remuneration to reward and motivate employees to deliver consistently high performance and to meet business objectives.
- Define & Execute HR Strategy
- Develop and execute People Strategies & Plans that attract, develop and retain employees to support the business needs.
- Performance & Talent Management
- Work hand in hand with HODs to ensure Performance and Talent Management drive the achievement of business goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration and talent development.
- Lead talent review / calibration to ensure high performance is rewarded and developed in line with the Management Development Cycle. Implement business unit succession planning / talent management plans that support business goals.
- Ensure People Managers use tools effectively to assist individual and team performance improvement at all levels.
- Employee Engagement & Relations
- Establish and maintain effective win - win working relationships with employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication and cooperation.
- Promote and foster a culture and environment that is productive, open, empowering, safe and equitable and coach others to behave and make decisions in line with Nestlé Management and Leadership Principles and Nestlé Corporate Business Principles.
- Enhance and maintain excellent working relationship with the Trade Unions and their representatives. Ensure social compliance across Nestle activities and ensure that the market is compliant with the Corporate Policies, relevant local labour laws and regulations.
- HR CoE & CoS services
- Ensure Line Managers and Employess understand the HR model and can quickly and efficiently access solutions.
- Talent Acquisition
- Full responsibility for the recruitment of all headcounts in the market and to develop, plan and execute talent acquistion strategy and resourcing / workforce plan in support of business requirements and the organisation's staffing objectives.
- Manage all resourcing vendors to ensure quality of delivery and best possible ROI and also ensure resourcing KPIs are monitored and actions are taken upon results and global recruitment metrics are submitted to Corporate Resourcing.
- Point of Contact with Survey Providers
- Liaise with survey providers and direct contacts from other companies to ensure reliable market data
- HR Rewards Strategy & Execution
- Define Total Reward Policy aligned with the Corporate Remuneration Policy that ensures competitiveness, equity, maximizes tax efficiency and employee choice.
- Rewards to be relevant in creating a high performing work culture that facilitates and supports Nestle's business goals and initiatives.
- Jobs Descriptions and Evaluations
- Implement IPE Job Description and Evaluation Methodology; within the Management Grading System (MaGS)
- MaGS - Coordinate with Corporate C&B the validation and alignment of market levels for MaGS
- Benefit Services
- Formulate, implement and review employees' benefits that are able to attract, motivate and retain talents.
- Promote employee understanding via appropriate communication channels, sites, publications etc work with HRBPs
- Competitive Rewards
- Evaluate, determine and participate in relevant surveys and other interventions that able to access the external equity towards positioning Nestle competitively in the market.
- Communications
- Promote employee understanding and appropriate valorization of Total Rewards via appropriate communication channels, sites, publications.
- Expatriate & Inpatriate Remuneration
- Plan, implement and oversee the administration of expatriate remuneration in ensuring efficient and consistent processes in line with Nestle worldwide policy.
- Variable Pay (e.g STB, Sales IP, Recognition Awards)
- Coordinate the STB process and payments according to objectives accomplishment.
