**Position Title**:_Senior Executive - Overseas Agent Development**Job Summary**:
The _Senior Executive - Overseas Agent Development _plays a key role in expanding the company's regional freight forwarding business, with a strong focus on EU and Mediterranean (EU/MED) trade lanes. This position is responsible for identifying and developing new overseas agent partnerships, converting leads into active shipments, and coordinating regional sales opportunities across target markets. Working closely with internal stakeholders and international agents, the role contributes to strengthening the company’s cross-border presence and unlocking new trade possibilities in strategic regions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build strong working relationships with overseas freight forwarders by understanding their unique requirements and offering tailored logistics solutions.
- Prepare and manage quotations for overseas agents, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive submissions that align with their service needs.
- Coordinate cross-trade shipments and identify new commercial opportunities through agent engagement, with a focus on EU/MED trade lanes.
- Maintain proactive and transparent communication with overseas partners to provide shipment updates and manage expectations.
- Collaborate with overseas agents to convert potential leads into confirmed shipments, supporting regional trade development.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and maintain consistent relationship-building to improve win rate and foster long-term cooperation.
- Support additional tasks or projects assigned by management to align with evolving business objectives.
**Requirements**:
- Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations (Air & Ocean) and familiarity with commercial coordination processes.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining overseas agent relationships, especially for nomination-based businesses.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, preferably with exposure to ocean freight and international trade coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work cross-functionally and contribute to the company’s growth goals.
- Proficiency in English (for liaising with overseas agents) and Mandarin (for internal and external coordination with Mandarin-speaking counterparts).
