Position Summary

Illumina Singapore is Illumina’s only manufacturing facility outside of the US, and the Asia Pacific headquarters for numerous business functions. It was first established in 2008 with ten employees and a 38,000 square foot space. Today, we have grown to an employee strength of more than 1,300, expanded to ten times the original space, with manufacturing output contributing to almost 50% of Illumina’s global topline revenue. Basic Function and Scope of the Position:
This position will be responsible to support Travel & Entertainment expense operations for APAC with close coordination with Global T&E team, monitoring aged items, and resolving policy and employee disputes.

Support Global Finance leadership with projects, initiatives and program administration

This role is based in Singapore Woodlands manufacturing plant and reports directly to the AP Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Conduct reviews of employee expense claims, ensuring expenses comply to Illumina’s policies and local tax authority requirements- Corporate credit card account maintenance and reconciliations- Monitor and investigate any aged claims and/or unsubmitted corporate card charges and resolve- Monitor and reconcile employee Concur accounts, including any values due to be repaid by the departing employee- Manage global help desk inquiries and tickets- Efficiently deal with queries both internally and externally- Ledger management (accruals and reconciliations) in SAP- Partner with the business as internal point-of-contact; share guidance and best practice by monitoring non-compliance and hosting training sessions- Support Audit and statutory reporting as needed, e.g., employee income tax- Support T&E projects and global policies revision as needed- Support Accounts Payable activities as needed- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Preferred Educational Background:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Business- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience for Diploma holder or at least 2 years for Degree holder

Preferred Experiential Background:
- Advanced Concur and AppZen administration experience is preferred but not a must.- Proficient in Microsoft office especially MS Excel- Experience in MNC environment is preferred and working with APAC / Global countries would be advantageous.

Competencies:
- Prior experience in Travel & Entertainment Expense preferred- Strong communication (oral and written) in English and Chinese is a must.- Strong interpersonal skills to develop a good relationship with internal/external stakeholders- Positive, responsible, proactive attitude and well organized- Dynamic and efficient; able to manage and prioritize a varied and fast-paced workload- Flexible and global approach to work; comfortable working independently and as part of a small team supporting all areas of the business- Ability to work cordially with people of different backgrounds in the organization- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills- Meticulous attention to detail required- Ability to work in small team in a fast changing and dynamic working environment
