**About this role**

Are you an experienced sales leader looking for your next challenge in travel technology? As the Head of Sales & Business Development for Atlas, you will be accountable for defining the company’s sales strategy and building a portfolio of profitable agency clients across the globe. You are open-minded and curious, with an ability to understand our clients’ needs, and translate them into innovative product solutions that keep us at the forefront of the travel industry. And most importantly, you will lead our Sales & Business Development team to reach new heights as the Atlas business continues to grow and transform.

**Internal Relationships**

Reporting to SVP, Airline Partnerships & Revenue, as Head of Sales you will lead and communicate effectively across teams and borders. You will collaborate with the Air Content and Growth teams to deliver world class end-to-end experiences for our clients. Together with our Marketing team, you will ensure that we succeed in reaching potential clients, and build brand and product recognition across the travel industry. And critically, you will work closely with our Product and Technology teams to shape Atlas’ customer solutions and value proposition.

**External Relationships**

In this role, you will establish and maintain valuable relationships with key decision makers and influences across the travel eco-system. Together with your team, you will be our relationship management and business development lead across our rapidly expanding client base. You will also be a powerful brand ambassador representing Atlas at industry forums and events.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the Atlas Sales & Business Development Team

Embrace our leadership values to lead and develop the Sales & Business Development team to deliver our aggressive growth targets
- Be a key player in our Commercial Leadership Team

Contribute effectively as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team actively participating in the development and delivery of our commercial agenda
- Development and execution of our sales strategy

Lead the design and implementation of our sales strategy with a clear focus on client acquisition and profitability throughout the customer life cycle
- Business growth and new opportunities

Drive revenue growth by through innovative business strategies, optimizing revenue generation across customer segments, and identifying new revenue streams
- Build and maintain valuable relationships:
Introduce a clearly defined relationship management strategy to build and maintain strong partnerships with current and prospective clients, and supported by our communications strategy
- Establish a customer feedback programme

Design and implement a powerful customer feedback programme to effectively shape our product roadmap and client solutions by understanding and anticipating our client needs
- Transform data into powerful insights

Use data based insights to inform our business strategies, product innovation, and to maximise our client profitability
- Design processes that deliver outcomes

Establish and enhance our sales processes with clearly defined accountabilities and milestones to deliver commercial success
- Represent the Atlas brand

Represent us at external forums, including industry events and conferences, to promote the company's brand, establish thought leadership, and support business development objectives

- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

**Key Qualifications & Experiences**

Required:

- Experience leading the design and implementation of sales and channel strategies across multiple geographies
- Demonstrated success leading the development of B2B sales including leading complex commercial negotiations with partners
- Solid experience engaging with C-suite executives on a range of topics promotion and adopt
