Working Hours: 8.30am-5.45pm (Monday-Friday)

**Salary**: up to $8k

Duration: 6-12 months contract

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop team members in designing VM and provide project management and execution support.
- Provide guidance to junior designers or newly joined within the region by induction/orientation and manage circulation list for updating the wider VM network and vendors.
- Work closely with store designers and other functions as needed to ensure complete, synergized and articulated store presentation.
- Ensure brand’s image is maintained at a consistent level of excellence within guidelines set forth by global team to achieve cohesive effect.
- Develop regionally sensitive approach and create vision for VM in APAC.
- Create regional merchandising guidelines, develop regional standards for print collateral & tester stands, and liaise with suppliers in the development of the VM elements.
- Display an understanding of marketing calendars for FY and create merchandising illustration schemes for new and existing doors in the markets for brands.
- Responsible for adapting the visual assets given by Global on the launch of products and marketing calendar.
- In charge of collating information such as each location’s counter elevation for the monthly execution of VM collaterals.
- Support for designing and executing the “in-case” merchandising unit to boost products, working with the vendors.
- Develop custom designed launch sites and events.
- Collect and maintain the storage of the design files for VM. Develop “Punch List” (List of deficiencies) for each installation to ensure the compliance with design set.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design or Industrial Design is preferred.
- Experience on design tools, such as Photoshop and Illustrator and Sketchup.
- Understands retail store design aspects, i.e. lighting, material, detailing testers, etc. as well as the importance of maintaining consistency.
- Confident in communicating and conveying technical & design issues to markets and professionals.
- Has experience in graphics, layouts and interior signage with an understanding of traffic flow and human scale.
- Understands how to read marketing calendars and execute the VM at the counter as a strong point of sales.
- Presents in a professional manner and good communication skills; has a good understanding of corporate image and conduct.
- Brings positive and collaborative attitude, able to quickly adapt to a multi-cultural environment and willing to develop new skills related to a fast-growing retail business.
- Manages time and team productivity by challenging current processes and proposing better methods, communication, and collaboration processes.
- Boosts and supports initiatives and changes, and able to lead and act on the set direction.
- Good time management to work on projects in an orderly fashion.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
