Meetings & Events Manager

The role of a Meetings & Events (M&E) Manager/Executive is **NOT to make sales **, but to **BUILD customers and DELIVER exceptional concepts, proposals, and experiences.**
The M&E Manager/Executive will be expected to maintain the latest market knowledge and trends in our industry and have strong authentic relationships with our suppliers. You must have a passion for the M&E industry and our amazing destination. The M&E Manager will be key for contributing to the achievement of both the financial goals and customer satisfaction goals is key.
You may be required to work with other offices internationally to share knowledge and experiences.
Day to Day you will be:
- Creating outstanding proposals that clearly communicate the experiences that guests will participate in.
- Curating and plan itineraries along with detailed costings
- Ensuring both RFP budgets and actual project cost sheets are accurate, ensuring clear tracking of financials and maximising of profits for both reporting and actuals.
- Communicating clearly to all stakeholders this could include; meeting minutes, site inspection itineraries, transfer lists, rooming lists, seating plans, final agendas, etc.
- Contracting, Invoicing and payment of both clients and suppliers are managed and completed.
- Executing complete end to end event solutions which could include everything from transport schedules, entertainment, tours, activities, teambuilding, dinners and AV.
- Ensuring operational excellence and service delivery by implementation of operating procedures, health & safety guidelines, service standards across all departments.
- Providing first class customer service from start to finish.
- Able to travel for Overseas Events.
