Our client is a Financial Institution with offices in Europe and Singapore (Raffles place). We are currently looking for a Compliance Associate with experience in the following:

- Undertake the Compliance Risk Based Monitoring Programme, including carrying out specific reviews and assessments to ensure adherence to MAS regulations and internal policies.
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance breaches. Assist in updating relevant policies and operational procedures on a regular and ad hoc basis.
- Monitors all operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all legal regulations, company policies and standards.
- Review MAS consultation papers and communicate regulatory updates to the relevant stakeholders.
- Drive the implementation of new regulatory requirements. Conduct review of client risk rating in line with Global AML Policy & Procedure, UK and Singapore laws and regulations as second line of defence, liaising with Compliance in London/Tokyo as required.
- Assist in organising, designing and delivery of compliance training. Review staff's request in relation to Gifts and Entertainment and Personal Account Dealing.
- Providing support to the Compliance Manager and assisting in additional ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and providing support as assigned within the Compliance team in Singapore and London.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Compliance.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements on Capital Markets Services Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident, organised, able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Able to work unsupervised and manage own workload, possess a proactive work ethic and be willing to be hands on and get involved in all aspects of the role from filing and data input through to presenting at committees.
- Methodical person with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail. Able to balance theoretical knowledge with commercial sense and understanding of the bigger picture.
- Must be flexible in approach a can do attitude is essential in a small office
- Highly motivated strong emotional intelligence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month

- Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:
