Our Client is a Regional Distributor of passive and electromechanical electronic components, and is seeking to recruit a Regional Field Application Engineer.

**Regional Field Application Engineer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to understand a customer’s needs and probe for answers, and then determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer.
- Deliver suppliers presentations, product introductions, and technical sales training for the overseas sales team.
- Develop and execute successful demand creation strategies for customers using both Company and Supplier resources.
- Work closely with Suppliers to fully understand their product portfolio and their technological competitive advantages.
- Engage existing and new customers, working closely with their Product Development and Design engineers into adopting our Components/Products in their product specifications.
- Providing technical support to the customers during their complete design cycle, from design specification until mass production.
- Require regional travel to support overseas team.

**Requirement**:

- More than 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
- Professional Certificate/NiTEC/Diploma/Degree - Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Effective communication, presentation, organizational and negotiation skills.
- Mobility to travel for business trips.
- Experience as a Field Application Engineer in a semiconductor distributor or supplier environment, and/or experience in a R&D environment in the electronics sector will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in hardware / firmware design, PCB layout will also be will be an advantage.
