Responsibilities and Duties

Field Applications Engineer (FAE) responsibilities include:

  • Using various sales tools and relationships with design engineering to identify all potential projects.
  • Providing customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize our product line business.
  • Using broad technical expertise to influence customers' part selection process while favourably positioning our line product versus the competition.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers. Collect and feedback customer / application requirements.
  • Ability to diagnose problems / failures and take up with technical team of principals.

Your Primary responsibilities will be:

  • Expand sales of Excellous Electronics product lines in respective customers
  • Develop new and existing leads through phone calls and presentations.
  • Identify, nurture and develop potential sales accounts with the help of our Application Engineers, provide clear, simple pre-sales simulation examples to excite prospects and demonstrate our products.
  • Provide some pre- and post-sales technical support directly and through Excellous' support team.
  • Travel may be required for Asia region.

Key Skills

  • Ability to generate business by cold calling, Demand Creation, well versed with Singapore & Asia Region
  • Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in engineering- Electrical/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication.
  • Experiences with lab equipment such as programmable power supply and/or signal generator, PV simulation, Passive/Active Parts, EV / eVTOL / ESS / UAV
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Ability to build lasting, influential relationships, both inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and drive for results.
  • Ability to influence decisions through a sense of urgency and competitive drive.
