**About the role**:
Due to growth in several territories and expansion in our customer base, we are looking for a colleague to join us as Field Application Engineer in APAC region. The role will focus on maintaining and increasing customer satisfaction and experience with the Distran products in the pre-sales and after-sales process, by implementing an effective delivery of customer training and technical support.

**In this role you will**:

- Ensure technical training programs fit the needs of the customers in the APAC by adapting existing Distran materials and documentation
- Discuss and understand customer’s detailed technical requirements, assess specific questions, and adapt the necessary training delivery approach
- Organize and conduct product training to customers, either at customer’s site in the APAC, or remotely
- Assure high quality technical support to customers
- Provide assistance to Business Development team during the customers´ qualification stage
- Organize, participate and deliver results from field test campaigns in APAC region

**Your profile**:

- Graduated with a Masters degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry or related is mandatory.
- Previous experience in technical customer support is an advantage and / or technical training is an advantage
- Good technical writing skills. Previous technical and/or scientific publications are beneficial.
- Ability to interdisciplinary work across all levels, functions, and regions.
- Driven by helping others, customer focused and a problem solver.
- Composure, and ability to deal with customer complaints in a diplomat way.
- Good organization skills and flexibility
- ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with different priorities to cope with deadlines and competing demands.
- Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written), Fluent Chinese/Mandarin. Other languages in Asia region would be a plus.
